Route information:
- There’s more villages named Runc in Romania. Make sure you find the rigth one. We’re in Alba county. From the mainroad (DN75) that leads trough the Aries-valley you have to get of at the Ocolis Exit. From there it’s 4,5 km before you reach us.
- Tara Nomada is located at just over an hour by car from the Cluj Napoca Airport. There’s many cheap fligths with Wizzair.
- We can arrange an aiportpickup. Just let us know! info@taranomada.com
- The bus will bring you all the way to the ocolis turnoff. From there it’s still 4,5 km. You can hitch a ride or give us a call for a pick up. Check the bustimes at: www.autogari.ro
- Hitchhiking is very normal in Romania.
More information:
- You can only pay in cash. The closesed ATM is in Turda.
- There’s only a few small shops in the village. There’s limited supplies but you can find the most essential products there.
- Dogs are allowed at the campsite but only on a leash. In the hostel dogs are not allowed inside.
- It’s not possible to empty your chemical toilet at our campsite
- There’s only limited places with electricity on our campsite.

Hele fijne plek en fantastische eigenaren. Bedden en sanitair zijn goed en alles ziet er netjes en verzorgd uit. In de omgeving Via Ferrata en MTB tour gedaan. Kan ik iedereen aanbevelen.

Wir hatten nur eine Übernachtung, doch wir werden sicher wieder kommen.
Ein wunderschöner Ort um die Natur zu spüren. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Der Platz ist ruhig und gepflegt. Auch die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr sauber.

The cutest camping place I've ever been to. The views are breathtaking and also I appreciated the fact that there was hot running water to take a shower no matter the time of the day, either morning or evening, also electricity. During night time it's a surreal experience as you can clearly hear the wild animals nearby. I'll definitely return.

Este o locatie perfecta pentru cei ce cauta liniste si apropiere de natura. Am avut inchiriat apartamentul si a fost superb. La Hostel este foarte frumos si curat. Daca vrei sa mergi cu cortul campingul este micut si dragut, cu filigorie pentru luat masa si zona de foc cu bancute de jur imprejur pentru o atmosfera autentica de camping. Recomand cu caldura si revenim curand!
